This Delivery Policy explains how Book Creation Experts delivers its customized digital, creative, publishing, and professional services.

Book Creation Experts provides services including ghostwriting, editing, proofreading, book-cover design, ebook and print formatting, audiobook production, self-publishing assistance, author websites, branding, book marketing, launch strategy, and related services.

By purchasing a service, accepting a proposal, paying an invoice, or instructing us to begin work, you acknowledge and agree to this Delivery Policy.

Depending on the service purchased, Deliverables may be provided through:

  • Email.
  • Secure download links.
  • Cloud-storage links.
  • File-sharing platforms.
  • Project-management platforms.
  • Client dashboards.
  • Website staging or live website links.

A Deliverable will generally be treated as delivered when it is:

  • Sent to the email address provided by the client.
  • Made available through a download or cloud-storage link.
  • Uploaded to an agreed project-management platform.
  • Uploaded to the client’s publishing account.
  • Submitted to an agreed third-party platform.
  • Published or launched following the client’s approval.
  • Otherwise made reasonably accessible to the client.

3. Digital Delivery Only

Unless a physical product is expressly included in an Order, all services and Deliverables are provided electronically.

The client is responsible for:

  • Providing a valid email address.
  • Checking their inbox and spam or junk folders.
  • Maintaining internet access.
  • Using a compatible device or application.
  • Downloading delivered files.
  • Maintaining independent backup copies.
  • Protecting access to delivered materials.

Book Creation Experts is not responsible for a client’s failure to receive or access a Deliverable because the client provided an incorrect email address, blocked our messages, lost account access, or failed to use compatible software.

4. General Delivery Estimate

Our general delivery estimate is typically between 7 and 14 days, depending on:

  • The selected service.
  • The selected package.
  • Manuscript length.
  • Project complexity.
  • Research requirements.
  • Client responsiveness.
  • Availability of required materials.
  • Revision requirements.
  • Third-party platform processing.
  • Additional services included in the Order.

This general estimate does not replace a longer or more specific timeline displayed in a package, proposal, invoice, checkout page, or Order confirmation.

The package-specific timeline applicable to the client’s purchase will control over the general 7-to-14-day estimate.

6. Customized Project Timelines

Custom projects may require a delivery period different from the timelines displayed for standard packages.

A custom timeline may be provided in:

  • A proposal.
  • A statement of work.
  • An invoice.
  • An email confirmation.
  • A project schedule.
  • A signed service agreement.
  • The checkout description.

The custom timeline accepted by the client will apply to that Order.

7. Estimated Rather Than Guaranteed Dates

Unless a guaranteed deadline is expressly confirmed in writing by an authorized representative, all delivery dates are estimates.

Estimated delivery dates are based on the information available when the Order is accepted.

Timelines may change because of:

  • Missing project information.
  • Additional research.
  • Client-requested changes.
  • Revision rounds.
  • Increased word count.
  • Technical requirements.
  • Third-party platform delays.
  • Unexpected project complexity.
  • Events outside our reasonable control.

We will make reasonable efforts to complete the work within the applicable estimated timeline.

8. Project Start Date

The delivery timeline does not necessarily begin on the date payment is submitted.

The project timeline generally begins on the date when all of the following have occurred:

  • The required payment has been received and verified.
  • The Order has been accepted.
  • The client has completed the onboarding process.
  • The project scope has been confirmed.
  • All reasonably required materials have been received.
  • The client has provided sufficient instructions to begin work.
  • Any required account access has been provided.

This date is referred to as the Project Start Date.

If required information or materials are incomplete, the Project Start Date may be delayed until the missing items are provided.

9. Information Required Before Work Begins

Depending on the purchased service, the client may need to provide:

  • Book topic.
  • Book title or working title.
  • Intended audience.
  • Preferred tone and writing style.
  • Book outline or chapter ideas.
  • Author biography.
  • Research materials.
  • Reference documents.
  • Voice recordings or interview availability.
  • Existing manuscript files.
  • Cover-design preferences.
  • Branding materials.
  • Author photographs.
  • Website content.
  • Domain or hosting access.
  • Publishing-account access.
  • Audiobook pronunciation guidance.
  • Marketing goals.
  • Required legal permissions.
  • Other project-specific instructions.

Delivery estimates may be paused or extended until all required information is received.

10. Client Onboarding Delays

The client is responsible for completing questionnaires, consultations, file submissions, and other onboarding requirements promptly.

If onboarding is delayed:

  • The Project Start Date may be postponed.
  • Reserved production time may be reassigned.
  • The estimated delivery date may change.
  • Previously available team members may become unavailable.
  • A revised project schedule may be required.

Book Creation Experts is not responsible for delays caused by incomplete or late onboarding.

11. Delivery Timeline Calculation

Unless an Order expressly states otherwise, the estimated timeline begins from the Project Start Date.

Periods during which the project is waiting for client information, feedback, approval, payment, access, or instructions are not counted as active production time.

A timeline may also exclude periods affected by:

  • Client-requested pauses.
  • Scope changes.
  • Out-of-scope work.
  • Unavailable third-party platforms.
  • Public holidays or production closures communicated to the client.
  • Force majeure events.

Where an exact deadline is critical, the client must disclose that deadline before purchasing the service.

12. Rush or Priority Delivery

Rush or priority delivery may be available for certain projects at an additional fee.

Rush delivery is not included unless expressly stated in the Order.

Availability depends on:

  • Project size.
  • Team capacity.
  • Required word count.
  • Research requirements.
  • Number of services included.
  • Client responsiveness.
  • Third-party platform requirements.

A requested deadline is not accepted unless we confirm it in writing.

13. Delivery of Ghostwriting Services

Ghostwriting Deliverables may be provided:

  • As a complete manuscript.
  • In chapters or project milestones.
  • Through scheduled draft deliveries.
  • In another format stated in the Order.

Delivery timing may depend on:

  • Word count.
  • Number of chapters.
  • Subject complexity.
  • Interview requirements.
  • Research requirements.
  • Client feedback.
  • Changes to the approved outline.

A manuscript draft may require revision and should not be treated as the final approved manuscript until the revision and approval process is complete.

14. Delivery of Editing and Proofreading Services

Edited or proofread manuscripts may be delivered in formats such as:

  • Microsoft Word.
  • Google Docs.
  • PDF.
  • Another agreed document format.

Files may include:

  • Tracked changes.
  • Comments.
  • Editorial notes.
  • A clean edited version.
  • A proofreading version.
  • A final approved manuscript.

Editing and proofreading reduce errors but do not guarantee that a manuscript will contain no errors.

The client must review the completed manuscript before publication.

15. Delivery of Book-Cover Designs

Book-cover Deliverables may include:

  • Front-cover design.
  • Ebook-cover file.
  • Print-wrap design.
  • Spine and back-cover design.
  • Preview images.
  • Print-ready files.
  • Other formats included in the Order.

Final file dimensions depend on information such as:

  • Trim size.
  • Page count.
  • Paper type.
  • Bleed requirements.
  • Publishing platform.
  • Printer specifications.

If final page count or printer specifications change after delivery, cover resizing may require additional time.

Editable or source files are included only when expressly stated in the Order.

16. Delivery of Ebook and Print Formatting

Formatted book files may be delivered as:

  • EPUB.
  • PDF.
  • Print-ready PDF.
  • Another format required by an agreed publishing platform.

The appearance of ebooks may vary depending on:

  • Device.
  • Screen size.
  • Reader application.
  • User-selected font settings.
  • Publishing platform.
  • File-conversion process.

Print layouts may vary according to printer, paper type, ink, trim size, and platform processing.

The client must inspect formatted files and available platform previews before approving publication.

17. Delivery of Audiobook Services

Audiobook Deliverables may include:

  • Narrated chapter files.
  • Edited audio.
  • Mastered audio.
  • Platform-ready audio files.
  • Opening and closing credits.
  • Sample audio.
  • Other materials included in the Order.

Audiobook delivery depends on receiving a final approved manuscript.

Changes made to the manuscript after recording begins may:

  • Extend the delivery timeline.
  • Require additional recording.
  • Require additional editing.
  • Result in additional fees.

The client is responsible for providing correct pronunciations before narration begins.

18. Delivery of Author Websites

Website delivery may occur through:

  • A staging link.
  • A live website launch.
  • Transfer to the client’s hosting account.
  • Transfer of administrative access.
  • Delivery of agreed website files.
  • Another method described in the Order.

Website delivery may depend on the client providing:

  • Domain access.
  • Hosting access.
  • Brand materials.
  • Author biography.
  • Book images.
  • Contact details.
  • Payment-account information.
  • Privacy and legal-page content.
  • Final website approval.

Third-party domain, hosting, payment, plugin, or platform delays may affect the launch date.

19. Delivery of Publishing Setup Services

Publishing-setup services may be considered delivered when:

  • Files are prepared for submission.
  • Required metadata is prepared.
  • The book is uploaded to the client’s account.
  • Submission is completed.
  • Submission instructions are provided.
  • The client receives confirmation of the work completed.

Book Creation Experts does not control the approval time of Amazon KDP, IngramSpark, Barnes & Noble, audiobook platforms, or other third-party services.

Submission of a book does not guarantee immediate approval, publication, or marketplace availability.

20. Third-Party Review and Processing Times

Third-party platforms may require additional time to:

  • Review a book.
  • Process uploaded files.
  • Approve an account.
  • Verify payment or tax information.
  • Generate book previews.
  • Assign listings.
  • Process website changes.
  • Review audiobook files.
  • Approve advertisements.
  • Update marketplace information.

Third-party processing time is separate from our production timeline.

A project may be considered delivered after we complete the service included in the Order, even if a third-party platform has not completed its independent review.

21. Delivery of Marketing and Launch Services

Marketing and launch Deliverables may include:

  • Marketing strategy.
  • Launch schedule.
  • Promotional copy.
  • Book descriptions.
  • Keyword recommendations.
  • Category recommendations.
  • Review-outreach materials.
  • Advertising recommendations.
  • Author-positioning materials.
  • Other items included in the Order.

Delivery of a marketing service does not guarantee:

  • Book sales.
  • Revenue.
  • Bestseller status.
  • Positive reviews.
  • A particular ranking.
  • Advertising approval.
  • Media coverage.
  • Audience growth.
  • Return on investment.

Marketing services are considered delivered when the agreed strategy, materials, campaign setup, or support has been provided.

22. Draft Delivery and Final Delivery

A draft is a work-in-progress version submitted for client review.

Draft delivery does not necessarily represent:

  • Final approval.
  • Completion of all revisions.
  • Publication readiness.
  • Final formatting.
  • Final file delivery.
  • Completion of the full Order.

Final delivery generally occurs after:

  • The included work has been completed.
  • The client has reviewed the Deliverables.
  • Eligible revisions have been addressed.
  • The client has approved the final version.
  • Any outstanding payment has been completed.

23. Revision Timelines

All advertised plans include unlimited revisions within the original project scope.

Revision requests may extend the total project completion timeline.

The time required for a revision depends on:

  • The number of requested changes.
  • The complexity of the changes.
  • The length of the affected content.
  • Whether multiple Deliverables are affected.
  • Whether third-party files must be regenerated.
  • The clarity of the client’s feedback.
  • Current production capacity.

A new estimated delivery date may be provided for substantial revisions.

24. Revision Requests Must Be Clear

Clients should submit revision requests in a clear and organized manner.

Where reasonably possible, feedback should be:

  • Consolidated into one response.
  • Organized by page, chapter, section, or timestamp.
  • Specific about the requested change.
  • Consistent with the original project brief.
  • Submitted through the agreed communication channel.

Unclear, incomplete, contradictory, or repeatedly changing instructions may delay delivery.

25. Out-of-Scope Changes

Requests outside the original project scope may require:

  • A revised quotation.
  • Additional payment.
  • A revised delivery schedule.
  • Additional onboarding.
  • Assignment of additional professionals.

Out-of-scope changes may include:

  • Changing the book topic.
  • Changing the intended audience.
  • Adding chapters beyond the purchased word limit.
  • Requesting a completely different manuscript.
  • Changing an approved cover direction.
  • Adding new website pages.
  • Adding services not included in the Order.
  • Changing the manuscript after audiobook recording.
  • Reformatting for additional platforms or sizes.
  • Reversing previously approved work.

The original delivery estimate will no longer apply if the project scope materially changes.

26. Client Feedback and Approval

The client must review drafts and provide feedback within a reasonable period.

Client feedback may be required for:

  • Manuscript drafts.
  • Outlines.
  • Cover concepts.
  • Formatted files.
  • Audiobook samples.
  • Website previews.
  • Publishing metadata.
  • Marketing materials.

The project timeline will be paused while we wait for client feedback or approval.

Any delivery estimate provided before the delay may be extended by at least the length of the client’s response delay.

27. Client-Caused Delays

Book Creation Experts is not responsible for delays caused by:

  • Missing information.
  • Missing files.
  • Late feedback.
  • Delayed approvals.
  • Unavailable client representatives.
  • Incorrect instructions.
  • Contradictory feedback.
  • Changed requirements.
  • Delayed payments.
  • Missing account access.
  • Failure to attend agreed consultations.
  • Failure to approve a manuscript before narration.
  • Failure to provide publishing details.
  • Failure to respond to project communications.

Client-caused delays do not create a right to a refund or compensation.

28. Project Pauses Requested by the Client

A client may request that a project be temporarily paused.

A pause may affect:

  • Delivery dates.
  • Team availability.
  • Production scheduling.
  • Third-party costs.
  • Previously agreed deadlines.
  • Availability of specific narrators, writers, or designers.

When the client is ready to resume, we may provide a new delivery estimate based on current availability.

A client-requested pause does not create a right to a refund.

29. Project Inactivity

A project may be classified as inactive when the client fails to provide meaningful communication, information, feedback, or approval for 30 consecutive days.

For an inactive project, we may:

  • Pause production.
  • Reassign reserved team members.
  • Archive project materials.
  • Require a new schedule.
  • Require updated project information.
  • Apply a reasonable reactivation fee where disclosed before resuming.
  • Update third-party fees where applicable.

Previously estimated delivery dates no longer apply after a project becomes inactive.

30. Delivery to the Client’s Email Address

The client must provide a valid and regularly monitored email address.

Files or notices sent to the email address associated with the Order will generally be treated as properly delivered.

The client must promptly notify us if:

  • Their email address changes.
  • They lose access to their email account.
  • They do not receive an expected message.
  • Their email system blocks attachments or links.
  • A team member responsible for the project changes.

We are not responsible for delivery failures caused by incorrect or outdated client contact information.

31. Download Links and File Expiration

Some Deliverables may be provided through time-limited download links.

The client is responsible for downloading and securely storing the files before the link expires.

If a link expires, the client may request a replacement link, subject to:

  • File availability.
  • Our retention practices.
  • Project status.
  • Verification of the client’s identity.
  • Any reasonable restoration cost for archived files.

We do not guarantee permanent storage or unlimited future redelivery of completed project files.

32. File Formats and Compatibility

Deliverables will be supplied in the file formats included in the applicable Order.

The client is responsible for ensuring that they have compatible software, devices, or accounts.

We do not guarantee compatibility with:

  • Unsupported software.
  • Outdated devices.
  • Modified third-party applications.
  • Platforms not identified in the Order.
  • Unapproved printing systems.
  • Future platform changes.
  • Client-modified files.

Conversion into additional file formats may require an additional fee.

33. File Inspection

The client must inspect delivered files promptly.

The client should check:

  • File accessibility.
  • Manuscript content.
  • Spelling of names.
  • Book title and subtitle.
  • Author name.
  • Cover dimensions.
  • Formatting.
  • Page order.
  • Website links.
  • Contact information.
  • Audiobook pronunciations.
  • Publishing metadata.
  • Included Deliverables.

Any issue should be reported with clear details so that we can review it under the applicable revision terms.

34. Delivery Confirmation

Delivery may be confirmed through:

  • Email-delivery records.
  • Download-link records.
  • Cloud-file access records.
  • Project-platform records.
  • Upload confirmations.
  • Publishing-submission records.
  • Website-launch records.
  • Client acknowledgment.
  • Final approval messages.

A client’s failure to open, download, or review an accessible Deliverable does not mean that delivery did not occur.

35. Final Approval

Final approval may be provided through:

  • Email.
  • Live chat.
  • A project-management platform.
  • Written confirmation.
  • Instruction to publish or launch.
  • Instruction to submit files to a third-party platform.
  • Use or publication of the Deliverables.

After final approval, additional changes may be treated as new or out-of-scope work.

36. Early or Partial Delivery

We may deliver parts of a project before the entire Order is complete.

Partial delivery may include:

  • An outline.
  • Initial chapters.
  • A manuscript draft.
  • Cover concepts.
  • Formatted previews.
  • Audiobook samples.
  • Website previews.
  • Marketing materials.

Partial delivery allows the client to review progress and does not necessarily mean the complete Order has been delivered.

37. Delivery Delays Within Our Control

If we anticipate a material delay for reasons within our control, we may:

  • Notify the client.
  • Provide an updated estimated delivery date.
  • Assign a replacement team member.
  • Prioritize the affected work.
  • Offer an equivalent solution.
  • Take another reasonable corrective action.

The appropriate response will depend on the nature of the project and the amount of work already completed.

38. Failure to Provide an Agreed Service

If we determine that we cannot provide an agreed service for reasons within our control, we may offer one or more of the following:

  • A replacement professional.
  • An equivalent service.
  • A revised delivery schedule.
  • Service credit.
  • Delivery of completed work.
  • A partial refund for the unperformed portion.
  • Cancellation and refund of the affected unperformed service.

Any remedy will be determined according to:

  • Work already completed.
  • Resources already reserved.
  • Third-party costs.
  • The nature of the affected Deliverable.
  • The applicable Order.
  • Mandatory consumer rights.

39. No Automatic Refund for Delays

A delayed estimated delivery date does not automatically create a right to:

  • A full refund.
  • A partial refund.
  • Compensation.
  • A chargeback.
  • Additional free services.
  • Reimbursement of indirect losses.

We will first be given a reasonable opportunity to complete the affected service or provide an appropriate remedy.

Nothing in this section limits any remedy that cannot legally be excluded.

40. Third-Party Platform Delays

We are not responsible for delays caused by independent third parties, including:

  • Publishing platforms.
  • Book distributors.
  • Audiobook platforms.
  • Domain registrars.
  • Website-hosting providers.
  • Payment processors.
  • Email providers.
  • Cloud-storage providers.
  • Printing companies.
  • Advertising platforms.
  • Stock-media providers.
  • Software services.

We may assist with investigating a third-party delay where such support is included in the purchased service.

41. Printing and Physical Proof Copies

Physical printing, proof-copy delivery, and book shipping are not included unless expressly stated in the Order.

Where the client orders physical books through a third-party printer or publishing platform:

  • The third party controls printing and shipping.
  • Its delivery estimates apply.
  • Its shipping fees apply.
  • Its return and replacement rules apply.
  • Book Creation Experts does not control courier performance.
  • Printing variations may occur.

Problems involving physical shipment should generally be reported directly to the relevant printer, platform, or courier.

42. International Delivery of Digital Services

Our digital services may be delivered internationally.

The client is responsible for:

  • Maintaining internet access.
  • Using compatible file applications.
  • Complying with local laws.
  • Paying applicable taxes or transaction fees.
  • Providing accurate account and contact information.
  • Understanding any local publishing or content requirements.

Digital delivery does not require physical customs clearance.

However, independent platforms may apply country-specific restrictions, tax requirements, or account-verification procedures.

43. Time Zones

Book Creation Experts may work with clients, contractors, and platforms in different time zones.

Dates and deadlines may be affected by:

  • Time-zone differences.
  • Local business hours.
  • Weekends.
  • Public holidays.
  • Platform operating schedules.
  • Client availability.

Where an exact deadline is important, the Order should identify the applicable date, time, and time zone.

44. Business Closures and Holidays

Production schedules may be affected by public holidays, planned closures, or reduced team availability.

Where a closure is expected to materially affect an active project, we may communicate an updated estimated timeline.

Third-party platforms may also experience slower processing during holidays or high-volume periods.

45. Force Majeure

We are not responsible for delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including:

  • Natural disasters.
  • Fire.
  • Flood.
  • War.
  • Civil unrest.
  • Government restrictions.
  • Cyberattacks.
  • Internet outages.
  • Power failures.
  • Hosting outages.
  • Payment-network failures.
  • Platform failures.
  • Labor disruptions.
  • Serious illness.
  • Supplier or contractor emergencies.
  • Widespread technical failures.

We will make reasonable efforts to resume work and provide an updated timeline when practicable.

46. Ownership and Final Payment

Final ownership or commercial-use rights in custom Deliverables generally transfer only after full cleared payment, subject to the applicable Terms and Conditions.

Before full payment:

  • Drafts may be used only for private review.
  • Final files may be withheld.
  • Publication rights may not transfer.
  • Website transfer may be delayed.
  • Account submission may be paused.
  • Commercial use may be prohibited.

Delivery of a preview or draft does not transfer ownership of unpaid work.

47. Client Backup Responsibilities

The client must download and maintain secure backup copies of all final Deliverables.

Book Creation Experts does not guarantee indefinite storage of:

  • Manuscripts.
  • Cover files.
  • Formatted books.
  • Audiobook files.
  • Website files.
  • Marketing materials.
  • Source files.
  • Project communications.

After delivery, loss caused by the client’s failure to maintain backups is the client’s responsibility.

48. Security of Delivered Files

Clients must protect delivered files and account credentials against unauthorized access.

The client should:

  • Use strong passwords.
  • Enable multi-factor authentication where available.
  • Avoid sharing public download links.
  • Protect unpublished manuscripts.
  • Remove unnecessary collaborator access.
  • Store backups securely.
  • Change temporary credentials after project completion.

We are not responsible for unauthorized access caused by the client’s failure to secure delivered materials or accounts.

  • Disclaimer.
  • Applicable proposal, invoice, or service agreement.

If a specific signed agreement or accepted Order contains a different delivery term, the specific term will control for that Order.

52. Mandatory Consumer Rights

Nothing in this Delivery Policy excludes or limits a consumer right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Depending on applicable law, a client may have additional rights where a digital service:

  • Is not supplied as agreed.
  • Is materially different from its description.
  • Is defective.
  • Is not provided with legally required care and skill.
  • Is not delivered within a legally required period.
